KEF’s Uni-Q array with MAT (Metamaterial Absorption Technology) has found its way down to the company’s entry-level loudspeakers. The new Q Series Meta comprises eight options and is headlined by the Q11 Meta [pictured], a £2000 three-way floorstander marrying its Uni-Q 100mm mid/19mm tweeter, with ‘Shadow Flare’ surround, to a trio of 165mm ‘aluminium-skinned’ paper cone woofers. A second floorstander, the £1399 Q7 Meta, sports two bass drivers, while the Q Concerto Meta (£1099) is a three-way standmount. Satin Black, Satin White and Walnut finishes are available.
