Revival Audio Atalante 7 Évo loudspeaker The Danish Connection
Based in the Alsace region of France, Revival Audio was founded in 2021 by two alumni of Danish speaker company Dynaudio – engineer and designer Daniel Emonts, with over 30 years’ experience, and strategist Jacky Lee, the CEO of the company. While the brand’s products are designed, engineered, assembled and tested in France, components are sourced from a network of suppliers from across the globe. ‘Our drivers are designed and engineered by Revival Audio’, explains Lee, ‘and are produced on a dedicated line at a facility in China owned by one of our trusted, long-term partners – which also happens to be an investor in our company’.
Lee adds that while manufacturing entirely in France ‘is a romantic ideal, it would double the production cost without improving performance. Our approach allows us to deliver true high-end quality at accessible pricing’. And while the Atalante 7 Évo sits at the top of the company’s range, it also offers more affordable – and conventional – models including the £990 Sprint 3 bookshelf speakers and £1790 floorstanding Sprint 4.
