EISA, or the Expert Imaging and Sound Association, is an organization representing 58 of the most respected special interest publications and websites from 29 countries that cover Hi-Fi, Home Theatre Video, Home Theatre Audio, Photography, Mobile Devices, and In-Car Electronics. Every year EISA's Expert Group members, including editors from this publication, test a very wide range of new products from their field of expertise before comparing results and voting to decide on the cream of every product category.

Each year, EISA expert group members, including editors from this publication, receive previews of the latest products, an extended process that culminates in a vote on which products are worthy of the prestigious EISA award.

For over 30 years EISA has been selecting the most innovative, cutting-edge products for its prestigious EISA Awards. The Awards are debated and voted upon by groups of specialist judging panels covering the full spectrum of consumer electronics and photographic products, including Hi-Fi, Home Theatre, In-Car Electronics, Photo, Video and Mobile Devices. Key to the success and relevance of the annual EISA Awards lies in the evolution of its categories, always reflecting the changing trends and technologies of the consumer electronics world. Moreover, the Association itself continues to evolve, recently welcoming new members from Australia, Canada, India, the USA, Russia, Hong Kong and Japan.

From the EISA Convention held in May to the final General Meeting in June, member magazines pool their combined experience to arrive at a consensus of the very best in sound and vision products available across the wider Euro continent.

Welcome to the EISA Awards for 2014-2015. The European Imaging and Sound Association is the world’s largest independent awards panel and one that reflects the collective opinion of nearly 50 of the most respected specialist magazines centred on, but not exclusively based within, the European community. While faultlines within the Euro Zone continue to dominate headlines in the UK, the collaboration of EISA’s member magazines has continued apace and with renewed purpose as the aspirations of our fellow audio and video enthusiasts rise above the political turmoil of the day. From the EISA Convention held in May to the final General Meeting in June, member magazines pool their combined experience to arrive at a consensus of the very best in sound and vision products available across the wider European continent.
