Oladra platform spin-off

Antipodes Audio, the New Zealand-based music server specialist, has announced a new Oladra brand that it says will be developed independently from its core Kala range. Previously the name of its flagship product [HFN Aug ’23], Oladra launches with two models, the Sentia and Presence [pictured], priced £33,888 and £57,888, respectively.

Both come in a full-width machined alloy chassis in black or silver, and integrate 4TB SSD storage (with expansion potential) for local file playback. Networked audio is accessed through UPnP/DLNA, Roon, or Lyrion, while both control and setup are handled by the Oladra Play app for iOS/Mac, Android and Windows. At the heart of the Sentia and Presence is the latest evolution of the Oladra ‘audio computer’ platform, which processes the digital signal in advance of the hardware’s USB output. The manufacturer says its bespoke approach ensures ‘optimisation of noise behaviour, timing relationships and signal structure', compared to general purpose solutions.
